OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES - PRESENTATION
The Open Educational Resources (OER) online platform has been developed through a collaboration
between the partners ARCA Cooperativa Sociale Florence (Italy); Erasmus Brussels University of
Applied Sciences and Arts (Belgium); Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Primary and Preschool
Education (ELTE_TÓK, Hungary); Galileo Progetti Nonprofit Ltd. (Budapest, Hungary); Józsefvárosi
Egyesített Bölcsődék (Budapest, Hungary); and Department of Education, Languages, Intercultures,
Literatures and Psychology (FORLILPSI) University of Florence (UNIFI, Italy) within the Erasmus+
project “Intercultural Early Childhood Education and Care” (I.ECEC).
It includes literature arising from the project outcomes which will be accessible for free towards a
wide audience such as students (mainly from the teacher training department and early childhood
education), educational professionals and executives in education.
The main objective of this online platform is to contribute for the inclusion of disadvantaged children,
preventing and reducing early school leaving, improving the quality and inclusiveness of early
childhood education and care services, and developing the knowledge and competences of early
childhood educators.
Furthermore, this online platform is a compilation of various forms of sources such as books; scientific
articles; workshops; practical activities; lectures; videos; artworks; reports; games; and educational
tools for practice oriented as well as academic purposes regarding Intercultural Early Childhood
Education and Care. All the sources are divided in modules, based on the findings of the international
literature review and on the exchange with the partners, in order to give a clear view for the user:
